The Phoenix bursts into flames and returns, life renewed once again.

As with the Phoenix, so goes the spirits of ShukuWolf and NevaPaws, mother and daughter, forever sisters. The rebirth of their spirits have taken the form of Kyara and Lykaios, maintaining the bonds of past as mother and daughter, sister and sister. Time, distance, and true life changes have occurred, yet their bond remains as strong as before and continues to grow stronger with each passing day - each aiding the other in the rebirth of their wolven spirits, which have laid dormant over the past years.

This rebirth of spirits has led to the formation of the Rising Phoenix Wolf Pack. Traveling a distant journey from all that is familiar, the she wolves stumble across GlacierMyst clearing. The clearing is located in the mountainous region of southern Colorado surrounded by old trees and overgrown brush, winding streams, large boulders, a small waterfall and warming hot springs. One huge boulder within the clearing is oddly shaped, having two half moon sections meshed together which taper down to a point slanting lower than the two upper sections. The top of the immense boulder is surprisingly smooth making for a comfortable resting spot for two wolves. No evidence of previous wolves has been found in the territory they now call home. The animals in the area have yet to develop fear of the she wolves, making hunting easy, at least for the moment.

The first hunt in their new home, quite unexpectedly, occurred as they were exploring the clearing and its surroundings. Upon reaching a small stream a few yards into the forest, a doe and fawn were discovered. Kyara rushed towards the doe blocking attempts to reach its fawn as Lykaios stalked and killed the younger, more inexperienced prey. The two wolves gorged upon the fawn beneath a star filled sky and half risen moon.

Together, mother and daughter flourish in the rebirth of their wolven spirits.

The first week has seen much activity within the home of the Rising Phoenix. After much investigating, the two wolfess’ discover their names, the pack and the clearing names as they begin marking their territory. The two souls of Lykaios and Kyara could not be separated even when death claimed one years before. Bound together always, the two wolves, mother and daughter begin anew, this time together instead of apart in separate packs.

A successful hunt days before keeps the two wolves fed and content, simply enjoying the company of one another. Whether they remain a pack of two forever or grow in numbers, it matters not. For as long as their wolven spirits remain, they will preserve the old ways, the true way of the wolf. The bonds of love and friendship as mother and daughter, sisters and Alphas, continue renewed in spirit just as the Phoenix rises in rebirth. Their wolven spirits strengthening with each passing day.

The Alpha's have been on several scouting trips. During a recent trip the Alpha's located an injured doe which ended in a successful hunt. The two wolves drove the injured doe into a dense thicket where she couldn't jump free or escape the Alpha's relentless attacks.

The big horn sheep herd has moved further north. The cougar's trail follows the herd, several miles distant.

Visiting wolves have begun to frequent the clearing bringing further renewal of the Alpha's spirits.

Last week the Alpha's, along with Sarahfina, went scouting and came across a roost of pheasants prompting an unexpected hunt. This time, however, the pheasants escaped the Alpha's attacks leaving only the taste of tail feathers in their maws when Kyara and Lyka startled them from the bush.
