06[20:45] * Alsmalie pads forward, his tail tucked, not looking up at the Alphas, his whole bodylanguage speaks of submission.
06[20:46] * @Kyara glances at Lyka then down to Alsmalie. You asked me for permission to join this pack, is this still your desire?
06[20:47] * Alsmalie softly whispers, his voice barely reaching the two of them "Yes Alpha I do."

06[20:49] * @Lykaios lifts a paw looking down to Alsmalie, her golden eyes shining...And why do you wish to join the Rising Phoenix wolves, our home and family?
06[20:51] * Alsmalie pauses and thinks. When he speaks again he looks directly up at the two Alphas, his eyes speak of pride and the truth of his words. "I came here a stranger, an outcast, friendless, and alone. When I reached here I felt at home, I felt like my feet and soul could find rest. I see in the two of you strong leaders. (cont)"
06[20:52] * Alsmalie "I can promise you that if you allow me to stay here you will never find my loyalty wanting, and if not I will leave as I arrived, in peace and peacefully." He lowers his head again/
06[20:54] * @Lykaios nods softly, one ear twisting to the wind and looks to Kyara
06[20:54] * Alsmalie mumbles softly "I also see something between the two of you I have not seen before. Love of family."
06[20:55] * @Kyara tilts her head thinking upon Alsmalie's words, eyes slightly narrowing. "With being here such a short time, you have already come to the conclusion we are strong leaders. What made you decide this?"
06[21:00] * Alsmalie looks up at them again. "Do you wish me to speak the truth, or would you prefer a convienient lie?" His eyes burn with an inner fire, he knows his next words may well be his last as a friend here. "I think you would rather the truth. I see your old souls in young bodies, leaders of power and truth. That is what I see!"
06[21:01] * @Kyara hrmmms, pondering his response and nods to Lyka
06[21:04] * @Lykaios pulls her ears foward....As a Pledge to the Rising Phoenix wolves, you are expecting to show and respect the ways of the wolf and our pack. This will be your evaluation period to decide if you are right for the pack as well as for you to make sure our pack if right for you. Do you understand this?

06[21:05] * Alsmalie lowers his head, again showing respect, he nods slowly "Yes Alphas, I do, and I accept the tests."

06[21:08] * @Kyara gazes intently at Alsmalie. "You indicate you see our souls. I have no reason to doubt this. Souls of old we may have, but what of our selves now, makes you think we are strong leaders and should be Alpha's that you are willing to follow?"
06[21:11] * Alsmalie sighs and then sits back and looks up at her. "Kyara..." He speaks softly. "I can only go with what I feel, I see the love you have for Lyka, that is a bond I have not experienced, a kindness, a gentleness, these things are not weaknesses, they are your strengths."
06[21:11] * Alsmalie "I know you would drive me out or kill me if you had to."
06[21:12] * @Kyara nods seeming to accept this answer, for now.
[21:13] <@Kyara> What is it about you that we should consider you as a possible packmate?
06[21:15] * Alsmalie considers this for a few moments. "I do not know, I am young, I am strong, I see that which remains hidden. I gave up my birth pack to travel with my grandsire rather than see family die alone. I am loyal to family, but I will make mistakes I know, I am not foolish enough to think I will be perfect."
06[21:16] * @Kyara nods slowly
06[21:16] * Alsmalie looks her in her eyes "But I would rather die now than leave here."
06[21:16] * @Lykaios jumps down from HeartRock to take a closer look at Alsmalie, she snorts then takes a deep breathe through her snout taking in his scent...she pads closer, tail raised..she bumps his side with her forehead almost as if testing his strength
[21:18] <@Kyara> As a Pledge to the Rising Phoenix, many things will be expected of you, including, learning the ways of the pack, making all feel welcome and caring for the clearing when we are not about, learning the history of the pack so that you are able to answer inquiries of visitors, just for starters. ...

06[21:19] * @Lykaios looks to Alsmalie ears perked as she circles him once more then returns to her place on HeartRock
06[21:20] * Alsmalie looks back at Kyara, and then at Lyka, for once the pup in him shows through with hope. He excitedly speaks. "YesIcanwillingly..." He draws breath and speaks slower "Yes I can, and willingly so Alphas."
06[21:20] * @Kyara 's tailtip flicks briefly, tail rising higher in the air
06[21:22] * Alsmalie flops down on his stomach, entire body lowered, totally submissive to them.
[21:23] <@Kyara> One thing I detest, Alsmalie, is a wolf that is a 'yes' wolf. If you do not agree with something, respectfully present your position, back it up with details to support your disagreement, but never challenge a decision publically unless given permission to do so first

06[21:27] * @Kyara lifts her muzzle, a long low howl resonating into the heavens accepting Alsmalie as the First Pledge of the Rising Phoenix
